Hi guys,
Was heading down the M5 this morning so activated the cruise control (retrofitted by BMW).
As I called to speed up from 65 to 75mph the car hesitated before the power came in.
Then I had a warning message and the car went into 'limp mode'.
I'm taking it in to get the fault read tomorrow but anyone got any ideas?
Cheers for any help! :)

Will update tomorrow when codes are read.
Could it be anything to do with the retrofit of the cruise control?
Not experienced anything like this when driving manually...

I suspect it's just coincidence.

Done 29,000 on a 10 plate so not much
Have a look at your vac lines as low boost also throws the car into limp mode!
Few guys on N54tech & e90post replaced their lines around 25-35k due to splits.
Check both lines that run from the bottom of the boost canisters and from both recirc vales to the splitter then back to the engine all of those were split/cracked on my car and they had only been replaced 2 years ago (covered less than 20k in that time).
Is there no one on here around you that could check the code and reset?

Here is the thread I posted when I changed mine " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Now I am confused...!

Started her up this morning and drove to work with no faults whatsoever? No Limp Mode and Full Power available?

Taking her in to get the codes read at lunchtime anyway and will post what they are...

Ok, had the codes read...

2DED power management quiescent, current fault intermittent

30FF turbo pressure measured too low, intermittent

Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers,

You mapped at all? Charge pipe could have cracked or come off.
To be honest I'd just start with the vacuum lines! Check the ones I mentioned previous, as as said all of mine were cracked/split.
If they are replace with silicone
