Was the stud conversion easy? Where did you get the bits - I think I may do the same! Car looks good, we're on a similar journey :)

Hi Bud
I bought them from crest Automotive Tuning, . Yes very easy no fuss comes with eveything needed. Although I am going to change the loctite to red once I get the car back.

Just a small update on my little 130.

Just some generally annoying stuff . The battery was on its way out so had to replace that . Then after a short time the alternator packed up so replaced that . All fun and games really . Oh and the bonnet catch started playing up so replaced that. Thats most of the annoying stuff out the way.

So bought a second subframe, which started life like this but after what felt like days and days got it stripped right back. A job I really woudn't do again. The mess and the time . Off to the sandblasters if that ever happens
Then it got a couple of coats of Hydrate 80 . Then a couple of coats of Hammerite (with Waxoyl)

Then its starts to get a bit more costly.

Bought a full set of Powerflex bushes for the subframe . Street series as I was worried that the black series would be to stiff. Bought them from Demon Tweeks as they had most of what I wanted
Bushes : PFR5-420 .PFR5-422,PFR5-425,PFR5-426, PFR5-411, PFR5-415 . As I bought all of these from them I asked for a cheeky discount which they did so it didnt hurt as much.

Picture With some of the bushes while i waited for the rest.

I also bought new hard brakelines from Cotswold ( 343-268-535-23 : Short Line) , (343-268-535-25 long line) , (343-411-635-65 Clips

Also some new subframe bolts . Cant find find the part no but will look.

I'm afraid thats where everything grinds tp a stop !!
Having had a cheeky operation on my hip and Doc saying no heavy lifting for the next 4/5 months i had to get somebody else to fit the subframe, which is a waste money money as I could have done it myself. However I also didn't want it sitting around the house !!
So betwwen that and insurance and MOT . Everything has come to a stand still . The only really good thing this time round I don't have a house full of car parts anymore , well almost !!

Will get pictures up once I get the car back
