Hey Guys,

Put this video together over the weekend, I literally talk about how practical the 1 series is, any warranty or reliability issues and what a M135i (and 235) cost to realistically run over the average 3 years PCP lifespan.

Please check it out - " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also - I will make an actual post over the next day or two, but I have a 2016 Alpina D3 Touring from Sytner in Nottingham for a week from tomorrow, aside for the video(s) I will make, I would love to show it to anyone who's interested and lives in/near London. I will do one meet up in London during the week, then maybe another one early on Sat morning followed by a convoy drive out of town somewhere... If you're interested please keep an eye out on here, my instagram and my youtube channel.

Cheers Joe

Hi joe
Can I ask you where you got that luggage compartment net from?
Does it fit every 1er?
I do a lot of riding over here in Wales and could do with one of these
Hey buddy,

Unfortunately it's a factory order only, its called the luggage compartment separating net, it needs to be ordered in conjunction with the through load system. You can buy the net aftermarket from BMW or eBay but your car won't have the roof or seat anchors so the net is basically useless.

Good vid, informative and enjoyable to watch.

Although I did start a tally on how many times you said "you know". Up in the high 40s I reckon! :)

I would be very interested on your thoughts on the Alpina, I think it'll be an Alpina B3 or a C63 next for me.

Cheers for that.
Watching your video has got me thinking if I should change my order (if it's not too late) to an auto. I'm not trying to save money by going for a manual, but if they were the same price I'd probably take the auto. The M135i seems a good car to to try as your first non manual car.
Saying that, I do love the experience of driving a manual.
It's a hard life

Thanks Joe

I did actually watch some of your videos in the run up to buying my m135i (9 days in and loving it, although I wish it would stop raining..)

Look forward to more videos as you clearly know your subject.

I kinda wish I'd optioned that cargo net, looks very useful!

Great video as usual. Really looking forward to the Alpina review. Shame I'm not closer to London, would be cool to see it in the metal.
Yeah its a great option and something the salesmen never talk about, basically turns the M135 into the fastest van in the world haha!

Cheers man, picked the D3 up last night.... OMG :)

Great video Joe, I saw one of your older videos few months back while researching what to get on my m135i I've just ordered. Gone for the 5dr and the auto since strangely enough it was cheaper for me that way when ordering it through work.

How did you find the wear balance between the fronts and the rears on the Pilot Super Sports? I've got the PSS on my Megane RS at the moment but being FWD the fronts are nearly done after just over a year now, found it quite interesting when you said they lasted a fair bit. Definitely the opposite with mine (unsurprisingly!) ;)

Cheers man, glad you liked it and congrats on the M135, you must be counting down the days... Even though I run the 3dr now, I think the 5 looks better! Amazingly all four tyres are worn almost identically, the fronts have more wear on their outsides I guess but nothing major. I can relate to the Megane, I had a Focus ST Years ago and it ate front tyres for breakfast, think I went through two sets and never replaced the rears haha.

Cheers man

Have watched all your videos Joe, and am subscribed. Keep it up, just maybe bit less of the 'urr, umm's ;) I can live with them if you are going to keep creating good content though!! :) If you ate ever on the Hampshire / surrey border at a weekend let me know and I'd be up for a meet in my C63.

Just watched the alpina d3 video. That's some machine and optioned to the hilt.

Can't believe the 0-60 times its capable of even on a greasy incline.

Another top video Joe, don't worry about umms and errs they're not noticeable to me. Just a relaxed and Natural way on the camera.

Doing another one of the alpina...... ;)
