I think my midbox baffles are kaput. Exhaust sounds a bit rattly on cold start and muted pops/burbling once warm. Sometimes a bit rattly too.

Could the decat and upped boost have blown it to pieces?

I'd like to hope the mpe back box is OK.

Anybody running without a mid box?

Anybody suggest a new centre pipe with a box?

Or any other ideas?

Did you had a software update on your car?
There's an update for my automatic and ecu.
So I did the software update and now my car snaps and crackles sometimes, and sometimes not... Then again... I hate it!

Take it back to the dealer and see if they can replace it under warrenty

I love the mpe and decat tho. Just wanna sort this rattly thing out. Could do with it up on ramps to cold start so I can get my head near each bit.

Dan, it could potentially be the valve rattling if it's a metallic type noise? :?

Get someone else to start it cold and try and pinpoint it yourself. I'd avoid the dealers - about as helpful as chocolate teacups.

The MPE is a good system, but struggles for volume internally and at high revs. Hence my decision to explore alternatives. Torn between going catless (but then the inevitable need for a tune) or sell it and get the BCS catback.

It sounded the nuts! There was some drone yes, but nothing I couldn't live with. It was worth it for the overall epic sound!

I did order the front pipe from supersprint also, but i was waiting 5 wks for it to arrive, by then I made the stupid and somewhat impulse decision to get rid of the car like a twat!! I got my money back in the end! I wish I could of heard the whole system with it fitted. Oh well!

No mate, I think the middle section is just a muffler?? Unless someone else can enlighten us!

I got a great price going via Eisenmann. They only do the rear exhaust section for the Mlite, but they recommended Supersprint as it fits and compliments there exhaust. I'm sure I got both front and mid section for around £500ish. That delivered from Italy!
