Hi guys,

I assume many of you on this forum have encountered the same painstaking wait between placing your orders and collection day!

Anyway, since ordering i've exhausted all reviews, watched all the BCS exhaust vids (hoping to book in for fitting on collection day) , read a truck load of posts on here and now I'm close to losing my mind as I've nothing to keep me busy!

Any advice? Stuff to indulge in around the M135i?

Tempted to go and **** off a salesman and test drive the car I've already ordered just to help scratch the itch!

A manual? Does anyone actually ever read it even when they've got the car?

Any port in a storm Kerr. After downloading and reading the manual we resorted to watching pro Nav videos on YouTube. We did also sneak another couple of hours in the demonstrator one Saturday when it wasn't booked. Once built, Sue also took to working out which ship it was on, tracked it on AIS, even watched the ship come into port on web cam. Not that we are 'sad' or anything!

I've just downloaded an app and then punched in the vin number, hey presto, full manual on my phone for a car I don't have till next week! I too have run out of reading material...

I waited 7 months for my last car and I was super-excited for that!

Just really impatient this time...

Still, will be really sad to see my Cupra 280 go. :-(

Whereabouts in brum are you? I'm south Birmingham just off junction 4 M5. My car is only 3 weeks old so not run in properly yet. If you're not too far I'll take you for a raz though. Which dealer did you order from?

For a standard exhaust that sounds pretty nice! Guessing that was cold?

Sounded louder than other videos I've seen.

Do you have the auto? If so, to you get the upshift pops from the exhaust?

Yeah that was a cold start just after I'd washed it. The first blip was in comfort then a pause (tick over) then some nice cracks in sport mode. I have the auto but I've not really opened her up properly. I've had her in sport mode briefly but changed just before 4k. Still sounds pretty nice though.
