Hi all!

Since I'm browsing the web for the right M135i every day, checking insurance cost and so on I
wanted to ask you guys how the running costs are in the UK compared to Sweden.

As an example I'm gonna take the M135i that I might actually buy soon, it's a:
2013, 5 door,xDrive, Estori blue with oyster leather, 8-speed, Navigation professional, H&K sound and some small stuff.
It's done 1700 miles.
This car would cost me £27.000, then £150 in roadtax for a year and £900 in insurance (24 year old living close to center in a city with a population of around 30 000).

Would be interesting to know what your M135i's cost you since I've always heard that a car in UK is much cheaper to buy than for example here
in Sweden, but to own it's alot more expensive!

Have a nice weekend you all!

I'm guessing similar spec but no x-drive as not available in UK would be around £22 - £25k, road tax slightly more and insurance about the same. Lucky petrol is only £1 a litre at the moment

The car is more expensive here in Switzerland too, but the xDrive is not available in UK.. And we wouldn't want a RHD anyway.. But petrol is down to 80p a litre here for the 98ron.. Time to get on the v Power for a quid a litre instead!
