Hi I am new to the m135 and new to the hole forum thing so please go easy on me.
I was disappointed when I realised my 135 didn't have the navigation system so I'm wondering what's the best route for me to upgrade to the pro nav. Oh it's a 2013 model any help would be greatly appreciated

Best route is to buy a new car... You can retro fit the pro nav system but its a royal pain in the arse... either that, or get a tomtom or use your phone.

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Article here highlights someone actually doing it. You will find they wished they never started.
I've only just bought this car it has the on dash screen and centre dial by handbrake it can't be that much work surely ????!!!?

Unfortunately it would be a lot of work.
Plus coding, time installing, putting it back together. Etc, etc.

Quite honestly, google maps on the iPhone is very good. So save your money and use that instead.

Just my view. Put the money toward the MPE instead

You bought a car before checking if it has the spec you want!? :eek2:
It'll cost around £1500 to retrofit probably. But I think you might struggle for full compatability with connected drive as the VIN won't have nav associated with it so BMW can't link phone to car.

Not worth the amount of labour and effort involved IMO.

I upgraded my 62 plate with a 2014 NBT, hardware was no hassle [after a quick check from an invaluable source :)], and Wibbles also sorted out the coding remotely for me, bought the hardware from a forum member and it cost me around 750 IIRC last year

The only scary bit was bastardising the USB connector for the centre armrest to fit the new NBT unit, thankfully the instructions were clear on internet and it worked fine.

Think the new owner is still working his way through all the new options and gadgetry :)

No, sounds like it needs a full 4 wheel Hunter alignment. If you bought it from BMW, take it back and ask for a KDS.

Hey it had five seats four doors and went like **** off a shovel everything else was a distant thought. I have no regrets and I'm just looking to find as much info as I can (preferably without the sarky comments but can handle with) about what these cars can/can't do
