Got the wheel trim fitted today (along with the gearknob and splitter/side blades) and it's excellent! As you say it's expensive but looks great.

Good point on mixing with the autoid carbon though - they're splitting kits now so going to get the right side dash piece when they have it in stock - hopefully it matches....

Where did you get that 50 year wheel badge from? I have the 50 year badges on my car and it's always a minor disappointment that the steering wheel BMW logo doesn't match!

Came from Etsy - German seller but their shop doesn't seem to be around anymore.

It's good quality tbh - went through a couple to get one that looked OEM etc. There are a few other shops/sellers offering them but can't comment on the quality.
Need to re-do mine though as it's not quite central....

Got mine from ebay too but again my guy seems to have vanished. Search ebay for 46mm 50yr steering wheel and you should hit a few. Quality of mine is about 99%, 1 wee blemish but not too noticeable thankfully but i cant say i wont try another if i can find one who'll deliver to NI.

The first 50yr wheel badge I bought had a small blemish near the bottom which always bugged me, even though, from arms length, it was hardly noticeable.

I ordered one from the link above for a laugh seeing as it was only £6.99, thinking if its [email protected], I can stick it on the tool chest! Actually turned out fine, not OEM but 95% and again from arms length, you'd be hard pushed to see the difference.
