Ive had my M235i for few months now and loooking to lower it.

ive seen theres a few options going about betweeen eibach, H&R and Birds.

Has anyone ran both and could give a comparison ? i had H&R's on my last car and thouhgt they were quite hard.

Opinions and pictures are welcome. i have searched about too but looking to increase my posts too so i can get into the buy and sell :p

I've had H&R 25mm all round on for a week, car feels great and not that firm, but I have got the adaptive suspension.

Duncan,

I had H&R sport springs on my car for about 1.5 years - superb.

I then M4 lower control arms to add some track/camber but it also lowers the front further. Initially not a problem but new work location meant low nose had to go.

Now fitted with Birds B1 springs to get some height back and to compliment my Birds ARB's and Quaife LSD. The car rode firmer with H&R's but still fine in comfort mode and firmed up more so in sport modes - great for track days. With Birds, I'm using sport mode more on the road as adaptive damping is well suited to Birds B1 in the firmer of the 2 settings.

I would love to drop my car 10 or 20mm but my car is so low with the front MP splitter on I fear I would catch it everywhere. It's very close as it is now...
my car is currently getting the aero pack with the mp front splitter, might see when i get it back how low it is as the roads and speed bumps in central scotland arent very car friendly.

cheers for the replies

Nice one well just for reference, here is the front of my car, I placed my wallet under the splitter and it fits snug between the splitter and the road so not much room and I really have to be careful. lol

I have the M Performance Slpitter on mine and have already caught it once so bear in mind it is quite low if your considering about lowering

My car is on standard springs and I've only had it 2 weeks! Scrape was only on the underside so nothing visible thankfully!
