So i am a proud recent owner of a 2008 118d m sport
Everything was going smoothly until the last few weeks on the odd occasion i suddenly lose power while the car is driving!?
The other day i was on the m25 motorway cruising at 75mph and suddenly the car stated to judder and the revs just went low and the car wouldn't accelerate, my speed dropped to under 25mph and i had to pull into the hard shoulder.
Now heres the funny part, i switched the ignition off and restarted the car, it was good as gold afterwards.
This has happened a few times now and haven't a clue why? all i have to do is switch the car off and restart and its back to normal.
I also had a remap done using the bluefin device from superchips (so a superchips map) i'm not disrespecting the car and ragging the [email protected] out of it, this is just normal driving when it happens.
any ideas or can someone point me in the right direction to get it sorted, its actually scary when i'm on the motor way and suddenly lose power and have to drag myself over into the hard shoulder!
Thanks.
