For me, I gotta have:

Multifunction steering-wheel
Automatic Air-con
Rain-sensor
Sport-seats

It's nice to have:

PDC in the rear bumper
BIG stereo
Xenon's
Bluetooth
Tinted rear windows

Not important at all:

PDC in the front bumper
Comfort Access
Leather interior
M-sport (got it anyways)
Navigation (that too)business, though)

Bluetooth is a MUST with a capital M as is a USB interface for a memory stick (or ipod).

Absolutely the two best "toys" on my M-Sport................after the turn of speed - hey hey !!

Hmm, difficult one, but the two things i really would have liked are the multifunction steering wheel and cruise control.

The ones i think are must haves are climate control and sports seats. Leather would have been really nice, as would xenons, but these are probably more for cosmetic reasons than anything else.

Must have for me on this car was the cruise control, I've nerver had it in any of my cars and really wanted it now.
I know it's not the most important driving feature but its just a thing of mine!

I would have liked the Bi-Xenons too, but it just wasn't in there... :(

Top of my list of must haves are sports seats and leather, they make a huge difference to the look and feel of the 1 series in my opinion. From the other options, then MFSW, climate control, PDC are all pretty important.

I wish we had got one with Xenons and if it was my everyday car then it would have to have had a HiFi upgrade as the standard system is terrible. Not a problem for the amount of time I drive it, as I spend the whole time enjoying the engine noise, but it would drive me mad otherwise.

I didn't think I'd really need the auto lights or wipers on mine, but now I love 'em. I'm a forgetful bas :censored2: ard, so they're actually pretty nice to have. Definitely agree the must-have on the auto climate, MFSW and rear PDCs.

The PDCs are a bit chicken distance-wise, at least on mine, but they're useful to have when you've only got on-road parking available. They also provide a nice ego boost when you manage to parallel park without bumping in a space so tight that they never leave the constant tone... :eek2: :lol2:

Didn't get the bluetooth in the end, and now I wish I had. Father-in-law's 650i (beast of a machine, incidentally -- awesome cars, those) has it and I wish I'd gone for it now, too. Way better than any of the third-party kits I've tried. Ditto the Xenons. I feel a bit of a prat for leaving those off.

I also didn't get Convenience Access, but again, I drove a car that had it and wish I'd checked that box now. Sounds kinda lame, but it's so nice not having to fish your keys out in the rain in the middle of the night... ;)

Must Have:
Comfort access. Oh yes. Definitely
Auto wipers

Must NOT have:
Sport seats. They look nice, have a useless thigh support and are extremely uncomfortable. Passengers I pick have so far all agreed with me. It is 61000 miles and still haven't got used to them. Some in this forum agree with me on this, but many don't. You must try both the sports and the standards before ordering sport seats

Only deal breaker for me is auto AC. Then sport seats are usually second in the list (but they need testing first). Leather seats would be nice, but our car tax makes them too expensive.

Sat nav isn't worth of paying that amount of money. For daily driving I don't need it and if I need navigation while on a trip I can use PDA with GPS.
