I wouldn't have changed anything either.

However, if money was no object and it wasn't a company car, I would have had black leather electric (with memory) seats. The motion/sensatec seats are very nice but I do like leather seats.

Think I would have had lumbar support - I was misinformed by the dealer about what it was for so decided not to go for it.

Now wish I had.

Anyone knows whichh options we can add on later once we have our cars? Would Keyless entry be one of them?

Nope, can't have keyless entry as a deler fit option I am afraid. Actualyl not that much you can have.

You can have CD Changer, Air con, MF Steering wheel, Bluetooth (if required Hi Fi installed, CD changer.

That's about it form the factory list.

I've got the standard seats in my 120d SE and wish I'd got the sport seats. The lateral support for the body is ok but the base of the seat is too flat so you sit on it rather than in it.

Well took delivery of my 118d SE back in September and love it to bits done a good distance in it and drives like a dream, was well worth the parting of my BMW Mini one (51) for my new toy

But the only thing I regret is not upgrading the Stereo but as I maxed my budget I stuck with the standard head unit and speakers and to be honest, they are naff, and even thought I have the AUX its not worth me spashing out on a Sony or Ipod till I get this sorted

So the question is :-

Any recomedations or ideas to improve on the sound and I REALLY want a pro system rather than the Business System

Any audio experts or ICE people out there please let me know the best course... will lowest cost possible

Slight regrets now for not adding the rear PDC- I'm sure I'll manage, but after denting my Mini's rear bumper recently I have my doubts. Anyone know it it can be added by the dealer :?: I doubt it.

illuminated door entry strips
These really really do look cool. The BMW logo lights up after dark and looks great. They were quite pricey but the plastic strips looked cheap to me and were about the only bit on the car I wasn't happy with.

From what you are saying, I assume that you would have ordered your car without these strips if you knew what you know now. Apologies if this assumption is wrong.

Nope, that's not right Jello - I would have got them.

They look great, were expensive but worth it (in my opinion). The plastic strips I refer to are the plastic strips replaced by the door entry strips - maybe that wasn't clear.

Heated exterior mirrors.

Every car that I have had for the last 15 years has had them as standard and I made the assumption that this one would be the same (Dohh....forgot it's a BMW :x ).

It's a minor point for most of the year but had I known that it was not included, I would have chosen the appropriate option.

When I get time I will see if the wiring loom connections are present and if so, fit them my self.

A few days before I take delivery but after sitting in a 1er with the standard stereo and after sampling one that had the speaker upgrade I know the sound system is going to be one area where I am left wanting more luckily this is one area I can address as an aftermarket jobbie....

XENONS! damn! i drove an S40 T5 last night and boy oh boy where they good looking funky and effective!.....oh well, maybe with my M1 in a few years time?
