My car never had a service book when I got it but I would like to trace info on its service history anybody no how?

Your best bet is to call the £1 a minute number

with your VIN, the guys on the freephone line won't help you. Once you find out which dealers it's been to you can buy a new service book and have them stamp it as far as I know. Mine is missing as well but as the dealers are all 500 miles away I've decided to live without the stamps for now.

What if it's been stamped at various bmw garages around country.

Could try ringing them and seeing if they'd do it for you by post, not sure if they'd need the key or want to physically see the car though.
