Been browsing the forum for a few weeks, lots of great info. Signed up as my sons just got an 2008 E88.
Just thought I'd post a big thanks to the forum who pointed me in the right direction when his PDC stopped working. Turned out to be a waterlogged PCB which I cleaned and dried out. Wasn't too confident but it worked!
Should I be looking for a leak from somewhere? The polystyrene holder has half full of water but I couldn't work out where it had come from. Are there any drains that need clearing out?

Just drill a hole in a plastic plug in the floor of the well, so it drains straight out also put pdc unit in a sealed bag to keep it dry. And welcome aboard

Not sure about the E88 but on my E87 there were a couple of bungs in there under the PDC, I put a couple of hole in those and sealant around the daft vents and it seems to have stayed fairly dry since. Refitted inside a sealed bag too just incase.

Vents can either be leaking, or in some cases fitted upside down! Also seals around the rear light clusters fail. Holes in the bungs and a plastic bag are both good advice already stated. Welcome, and have fun
