Hi all,

I'm having problems with the iDrive control buttons sticking.

The top buttons are ok and don't really stick, but the bottom ones, like the option and back button are really stiff (hard to push in) and it's worse as the weather is getting so cold.

It's like a drink has been spilt down there and caused the buttons to stick and to come back up slowly.

How do I resolve this without causing any further issues? Hope I've explained it well enough. I have also attached a picture for reference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would go back to the dude that sold you the car, all car dealers must give 90 day warranty
I know the car was flawless when I part ex'd it in August.
It might just be a case of swapping the button for a replacement.

Ok, will try the contact cleaner spray first to see if that frees up the buttons.

If not, I'll get in touch with the dealer.

Thanks Andy.
