Just put my heated rear window on for the first time this year and after my smash. Was listening to DAB and the radio was cutting out, I switched the HRW off and the radio returned perfectly. I also noted one filament that didn't clear the glass. Do you think it worth taking it back to the BMW bodyshop for them to take a look, or just live with it. Cheers guys.

I'd take it back Simon, BMW should be setting an example. You should also get a discount on your next service for your trouble!

Could also be something that is used as a bargaining tool up by a buyer (if they notice!) when you come to sell so worth getting done even if you could live with it.

Personally I'd be rectifying any issues, either general faults or issues from main dealers/body shops etc what might not be much of an issue to you will be an issue for somebody else down the line and as stated above potential buyers will do anything to lower the cost at the end

Cheers guys, it is just so painful taking your car in. BMW Motorad service my bike at the weekend and I have my pick of any bike I want to borrow! With the car, I have to beg for a Mini so I don't get an F40:p. I think your right, my OCD will kick in.

I had this when I got my car last September….took it back to BMW….they said they couldn’t find any issue and said they did a connectEd drive reset….. seemed ok but this week using it again it’s back and boiling my p1ss

clearly an electrical interference problem

I think I was just in a DAB dark zone, had a run out this morning with the HRW on and the DAB was fine. Still have one filament not clearing but it goes after a while.
