Hey guys,

really quick question

My light warning came on today (Bulb) it looks like when i have my full lights on, the driver side headlight is not working properly (only the small bulb is lit, not the big one)

Cheapest and easiest way to fix with approx costs?

Iv had a look through the forum but can't find anything specific.

The lights are as standard (i'm assuming it just needs a new bulb) HOWEVER this could be an opportunity to upgrade the lights?
They are very yellow and I would like some that are white (while still looking OEM)

Thank you all in advance

EDIT:
Forgot to mention I have a 120D '09 in space grey

Any further info on your car would be helpful but in the meantime I'm going to guess that your headlamps are halogen H7's and in that case i would buy these - " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. They are bright white and include 4 main lamps and 2 side lights.

More expensive and probably more reliable are Philips diamond vision or Osram night breakers.

There is a How To Section on this forum that gives a step by step guide which is a piece of **** to follow.

Or alternatively depending on where you live a nice forum member may offer to fit them for a few beer tokens.

Thanks guys.
Wow more than helpful.

Just final follow up questions

1.Are they completely legal?
2. Probably looking at the eBay ones Twenny linked, are they easy to fix?
3. How much would average cost be to fit them in?

Thanks in advance :)

Yes they are legal and yes they are a doddle to fit, There's an easy guide here mate -
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also while you're doing that you could buy some silver indicator lamps for £5-7 on eBay to get rid of that fried egg look on your indicators - there's also a guide for this in the how to section of our forum -
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Very nice and easy mods that make a big difference to your front end.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Ok decided to go all out and change them myself!

I will be buying the ones Twenny linked and changing both the frontx2 lights myself (how tos look easy enough)

2 questions
1. My side indicator lights are orange and will look out of place, where can i buy the matching white colour and how easy are they to change?
2. My rear lights are also orange, should I be changing these?

I want everything to look as oem as possible with the least fuss :)
