I'm sure i have seen someone on here say the got their VIN number of BMW Genius? I asked them and they said they can't give me it due to security reasons. Guessing i'll need to contact the dealership for it? If that's the case i'll leave it cause i will feel like a right fanny asking for the VIN number over the phone haha.

I'd suggest contacting the relevant dealer and speak to the person who you dealt with requesting they send you an email with current progress and in doing so you'll then see the details as applicable.

Yea, just ask your dealer for an update and you should get an email with your VIN number and current event code.
