I've got around a thousand tracks on a USB stick. All tracks are tagged with artwork etc.

Everything plays OK, but I'm struggling to find a way of showing track info and artwork at a decent size on the controller display (my 2019 M140i has the smaller screen).
I can see a track list, and scroll up and down and select, no problem.
I can see the currently playing track, with artwork, if I press the "menu" button on iDrive, so it's obviously capable of displaying the artwork etc. This is on the menu screen where you can scroll across and see 3 different function screens at a time. If I press the iDrive wheel on this screen, it takes me back to a plain list of tracks

I can sometimes get the artwork and track details to display "full screen" if I press the right arrow button next to the favourites buttons, but it seems a bit random, and sometimes I have to press twice, skip to a new track, and then it displays OK. I can then skip back and forth using the left and right arrows, with the display staying full screen. As soon as I display something else on the screen, I have to go through the whole process again.

Is there an easier way to get the currently playing track to display at a decent size?

It looks like it was just a case of waiting until the car "indexed" the contents of the USB stick completely, which takes a while.

From the media screen which shows the track list, it automatically goes to the currently playing track with artwork after a few seconds.
