I'm preparing to install a dash cam tomorrow using a fuse tap to keep things clean. To save me some time, does anyone know if unused fuse positions in the box behind the glove box are all live, thus I could use one of those, or are only the uses used from the factory actually individually wired/live?

Well technically you dont want a permanent live, you need a switched live. Did mine last week, just tapped into the cig lighter fuse with 'add a fuse' connection, was really easy. Was fuse 30
