Front door speakers 116d M sport 2012
Hi All,
New to the forum and first post,
I have a 2012 BMW 116d M sport, I'm only assuming this has the H&K upgrade package I have had it 2 years but never really checked as I didn't get from new.
I have a couple of questions the first being the most important,
1. My front speakers have completely gone, I'm relying solely on the rear drivers for music and have to adjust the balance to the left as when its central my left front speaker just makes a horrible cracking noise when it sometimes plays but is awful
What size are the front speakers in the car, wondering if someone knows before I have to take the door card off to check myself.
I was going to get them replaced with some JBL fronts as the same company that make H&K make JBL so seems the obvious option.
2. My car doesn't have iDrive so my Bluetooth is just telephone etc, I feel the sound quality from the Aux lead isn't that good when I plug into phone, is there any other way I can play my Deezer songs on my phone in the car. I was going to buy a QED Uplay puck receiver which has aptX Bluetooth so much better audio quality but this requires DC/AC power to use... Any other suggestions?

Yeah I assumed so, I will just nip to Halfords and get myself some JBL 4" drivers should fix the problem,
I've read on here that you can chip some box in the boot of the car to have Bluetooth audio?

.I would recommend you change the whole component setup (including the tweeters if you have any).
Yeah I'm on to him doesn't seem like I have a comms box unfortunately
