I am looking at changing my cabin filter and have noted that there is a footwell cover on the passenger side but none on the driver's side. This seems strange as there are all sorts of gubbins exposed. The car is a right-hand drive. Please could someone have a look at the top of their driver footwell to see if there is a cover - many thanks.
Some years ago I had a HUD screen retro-fitted by BMW and the next day I got a call to say that the mechanic had forgotton to put the bolts back on the passenger side cover and I had to take the car back. Makes me wonder if the driver's one was removed and never replaced.

It is a2016 F45 Active Tourer - rt hand drive. I will get a photo later. The area I am talking about is driver’s side. There is a cover on the passenger side. Thanks

My 2015 Active Tourer 225i xdrive lux is exactly the same. The passenger side has a cover but not the driver's side. Only natural I suppose with the pedals being there, a cover would be a right fiddly thing !
Cheers
Brian.
