Noticed an occasional holding back in low revs like an ignition coil failure but not misfiring. Initially thought it was under powered engine as I have the 116i 1 Series but I took it back to the garage for further checks whilst still under warranty.
The fault recorded was 2F08 - Air intake sensor signal and a unknown 2008 fault code stored.
Additional notes on the diagnostics was that intake air temp reading 42c seems high
Recommended futher testing by BMW
Any advice on what this fault is and what it may cause?
