I need some quick help. After almost a year since I bought my M235i with navigation professional (NBT EVO), the Map Update server is finally up on my ConnectedDrive account. However, the only maps currently to download is:

Available version: Road Map EUROPE EVO 2016-1*

Please tell me if I should download it and isntall? Will the proper map (what's its name I forget - is it still NEXT, the highest fullest version for Nav Pro?) overwrite it when it arrives?

Perhaps some of you guys has a working link to my correct 2016-1 maps version for Europe? The FS key is provided on te Portal for me, so a download to a stick should suffice... TIA

OK, I learned from another forum that this is the right version for me - after initial problems with BMW's Download Manager, I'm finally downloading the file!

One thing worries me though; there is the following disclaimer under the asterisk (see it in my OP above? the asterisk, not the disclaimer ): It says:

*Note: The current version of the digital street map is not automatically recognized by this vehicle. Please check the installed map version in the navigation options menu in your BMW.

What do you make of it - is it completely safe to overwrite my current maps, which although a bit old (the 2015-2 version) work perfectly?
