Are the MP bump stops really necessary?
When I had those springs I looked at the TUV certification and it said standard bump stops (secondary spring) must be used. So that's what I did.

I now have MP springs by BMW and they come with shorter bump stops for the front only.

So if I were you, stick with original bump stops with Eibach.

Hope that help.

I'm very happy with my Eibach Pro Kit springs and Bilstein B8s. No issues whatsoever and the car handles very well without the ride being compromised.
I am thinking of a suspension change on my 240, does the Bilstein kit get rid of the bounciness and rebound issues?
I've found the Bilstein B12 kit better controls the compression and rebound, so yes. I fitted the Eibach's and the Bilstein B8s separately. It wasn't until the Bilsteins were installed that the bounciness and rebound were better controlled.
Springs control the distance of the compression (amplitude), dampers control the speed (frequency) at which the spring compresses and uncompresses i.e. they dampen the motion of the spring. Dampers and springs should be matched. I ASSUME Eibach Pro Kit springs are designed to work with OE dampers.

Fitted Motech springs yesterday on adaptive dampers. Hardest part was getting the drop links out and plugging the 3 pin plugs back into the box on the dampers... damn pins needed bending back in the plug!

As for the springs.... Going to leave for a week to settle before height measurement and alignment. The handling is 100 times better! I'm not driving a large ferry around now, feels like a sporty car now, less body roll and much flatter.

I took BP's advice and updated to the most recent firmware a week after the spring install. There is a definite difference for the better. In fact gearbox, steering and throttle response are all different.

How do you do the firmware update, is this a dealer job?
Yes. The can check and advise if there are updates and if so do you want them. Of that's how it should work anyhow...

I went for the Motech Springs on my ADAPTIVE M140i. It makes the car look so much more purposeful and handle better. I done a vlog on the set up here's the link to that below.

I have seen M140i's with the H&R springs but in my opinion they appear to pitch the nose up of the car.

I´m looking for springs/kit with minimal lowering. Springs or complete kits (B12) dont matter.

15/15mm are only for x-drive if I´m correct ? 2WD are 25/15 mm.

I would be happy if someone can point me in right direction :)

Do you want to lower it at all? Or just improve the ride quality?

If its possible to stay the same hight it would be great. Most important is handling. I think tha car is way to "twisty" in higher speeds..

Ia have all the parts like LSD,V-brace etc but only standard suspension ( not adaptive )

Tried & tested minimum drop options for 2WD are:-

oem MPerf springs ~ 10mm F&R

Birds B1S springs - 10-15mm F&R

H&R 15mm springs - 15-20mm F&R

MSS - height adjustable springs are recent to market but probbaly your best but most pricey option as you can set heights/corner balance the car and it will improve mlites road manners, based on feedback I've read so far.

Could you get hold of some F20 M135i xDrive rear springs?

Yes I could just buy them :) Is this one solution ? Just to change rear springs ?

Thx BP !

I will check out this OEM M-Performance springs !

The biggest issue with the M140i suspension, in my opinion, is the rear spring rate is too hard. OEM M Performance springs are also very stiff. M135i xDrive rears should be slightly more compliant, giving less bounce and better grip. Same ride height as standard of course.

The dampers aren't perfect either, if you want to throw a lot of money at the car?
