Try these.

These are listed for the m235 with adaptive Suspension where you can get the m performance springs.

I've yet to install but the intention is to put them with the B8 and eibach pro kit springs

Suppose there must be similar for the 1er.

B8 front struts have integral bumpstops so better off buying just rear MP/shorter bumpstops to save some ÂŁÂŁÂŁ

Are they redily available bp? Spoke to my friend earlier on and at his last serivce bmw said his bumpstops were heavily worn and quoted a stupid price to replace with oem.

I'm about to order the Motech Eibach springs. I was going to order the front and rear M Performance bumpstops stops.

Is there any reason not to change the front bumps?
IIRC with OE MPS, you only get front b/stops so BMW must think these are more of a priority to swap out than the rears.

IMHO, if going to Motech for spring swap and wanting to upgrade b/stops, I'd supply all 4 corners as the extra labour cost to swap out b/stops during a spring swap should be negligible - but best check with Motech directly to be sure.

Yep with the BMW OE MPS spring you only get front secondary springs (bumpstops). I double checked with Phil at Cotswolds before fitting to my car.

If I may, no offence Dave buddy, but Eibach can make quality springs.

Look carefully at the attached picture of the Aston Martin Vulcan. They are Eibach. Same on Bugatti. Just saying.

No problem no offence taken !!

Eibach May make quality stuff for high end applications. Comparing price point and applied materials and QA , AM springs will be in a different stratosphere than their ÂŁ150-ÂŁ200 product for mlites.

My view is based on 1st hand feedback and or observations plus indirect feedback on forums where a consensus was clear.

No doubt Eibach are continually evolving their products so a set of mlite springs now should probably be a much better proposition than an mlite set from 3-4 years ago.

I'm on Eibach rear springs with stock bumps. My Rear arch height is 353mm (from centre of roundel to apex of arch), so still quite high.

I do quite fancy trying some shorter rear bump-stops, BMW part number 33536859769
Will the shorter bumps drop the rear down a bit more? I'd quite like another few mm down at the back but don't want to have to buy a set of Motech Eibachs as I've only just had the Pro kit fitted. Not quite sitting as I would like.

Penfold - judging by yr car's photo you posted earlier in this thread - shorter bumpstops won't lower the rear of yr car. The rear Eibach springs are the cause of the height/arch gap.

Motech Eibachs will address the nose down stance that yr car now has - c/o std Eibach pros. it was this nose down stance that put me off Eibachs initially and H&R's gave a more even stance [more akin to current Motech Eibachs TBF] BP.

anyone with the motech springs and say a maxton or carbon front splitter able to give a decent measurement of the ground clearance with all of it fitted? there's some savage speed bumps in my area and i'm still concerned despite various people claiming it's fine.

my other car is pretty low and gets caught quite easily :D

I have the Motech Eibach springs and spacers on my M140i. It's my daily car and with 4 up it doesn't rub or catch. I also have a front splitter and no issues with speed bumps. It's a fantastic upgrade and worth every penny.
Hi. If you dont mind me asking - what was the cost to supply & fit?

Got a quote off Motech and it was roughly ÂŁ650 for springs and spacers supplied and fitted. Not bad I guess - just a bit far!

Think I will go for the Motech Eibach suspension after reading through. Will most likely give it to a local mechanic for fitting.

Is it difficult to fit yourself? I'm pretty competent when i can be bothered so wondering if its an easy enough job to attempt at home? Might give me something to do on a weekend!

I'm very happy with my Eibach Pro Kit springs and Bilstein B8s. No issues whatsoever and the car handles very well without the ride being compromised.
I am thinking of a suspension change on my 240, does the Bilstein kit get rid of the bounciness and rebound issues?

I've found the Bilstein B12 kit better controls the compression and rebound, so yes. I fitted the Eibach's and the Bilstein B8s separately. It wasn't until the Bilsteins were installed that the bounciness and rebound were better controlled.

Yeah I'm going to have to change to either the Motech Eibachs or H&R. The stance is pretty stupid as it is. Eibachs website is useless as it says 25mm all round, then they say it will lower more at the front than the rear, but don't give a specific amount even though they say the springs are pre stressed in the factory!

Im having issues with my headlights too, they point right down at the floor when accelerating or cornering and then hunt back up again. Could a leveller have been broken? I notice on the Eibach site it says under fitment notes: 'without level control'. Not sure what this means?

My eibachs pros dropped by 9mm front and 20mm rear , my rear ride height is now 345mm from middle of centre cap to the arch
