Just a quick bit of info. I know its already out in a few sizes but Emailed Goodyear to ask when they're releasing it in the 245/35/18 that we commonly use. Not due until June 2016 :( Can't wait that long to get rid of these rock hard runcraps so I'll just have to make my mind up between the asymmetric 2 or csc5. I'm dithering. :?

Mikeyscott did you find any problems placing the 255 instead of the 245? What is the big difference in the driving feeling?

Haven't driven the car much since having them fitted. PSS TBH felt pretty good today with early morning petrol heads run. Bear in mind cold and damp. Comfort wise car is a firm ride at lower speeds, suspect suspension related.

Can't remember 255 had them on my E87 123d where as I have a 135i with birds suspension. Off to birds for a check on 5/3

I'd prob choose them over GY. Now IF CS6 were in 225/255/18 I'd take those.

Thank you Mikeyscott for your post, I'm sorry for my late reply. Indeed would be really great if the cs6 was available. I'm still not sure between the asy3 or the cs5. Anyone have found any good review?

Also can you just change the front tires? And keep the runcrap for a little more time? Or you need to change all 4 tires in one go? I know that will be better change all 4. But there is any problem keeping one axis run flat and another no run flat?

Cheers

I end up going for the Goodyear As3.. I'm really happy with them, very silent compare to pirelli p zero rft, tramlining just disappear, the car feels more safe, with the rft I had to keep my hands in the steering wheel because the car not felt save, was always pulling and following the uneven road, now I don't feel anything of that :).The car feels complete different, even the bumps now the tyre absorb more, and you don't feel almost nothing compared of what you feel with the rft. I really advice to remove the rft and get a good XL tyre. For the ones that don't have spare tyre like me I found a better solution for that. I don't like the kit that BMW have, the bottles with the liquid can ruin your tyre sensor, and you will need to replace the sensor. Also from some feedback of some users when you repair the tyre after apply the bottle you keep all the dry liquid and starts making noise in the tyre when you are driving, almost like you had sand inside the tyre. I found the stop n go tyre repair kit great, and is less expensive that the BMW kit. I got mine for 34.90£ in eBay with 2 co2 bottles, but if you want you can get a mini compressor like I will be doing soon. Cheers Filiii

Just a quick question guys, can I go asy 3 225 on the front and asy 2 245 on the back? What's the benefits/ disadvantages between 245 and 255 on the rear? I get a lot of tramlining at the moment with my 225/245 asy 2's

I had looked around and was planning on putting asym 3's on my car in the next month or so however I have just checked the prices again and over the last couple of weeks (since I have started seeing them advertised on TV and on radio) they have jumped £15-20 a corner!!! :x

Hi Davis, are you using runflat? I just have replaced the front ones for non runflat ( Asy3 92Y XL) and the tramlining just have gone xD. I'm waiting for the asy3 in 245 that are coming out in June, then I will replace the back tyres for non runflat as well. I have running the car with non runflat on front and runflat on the back, and not got any single problem. Also que insurance confirm me that was OK to run like that. I have tested in dry roads, wet and with snow, no problem at all. Cheers

I'll be due new summer tyres in a few months so have started looking at options. Going to stY with 225/40/18 and 245/35/18

Conti CS5's are still winning group tests, beating the Asymetric 3.

Concerned that despite the hype the Michelin PSS might be a noisy/harsh of ride.

Can't find any tests of the Michelin PS4 yet which might also be an option.

Just ordered my tyres. Best I could get was £93 per corner fitted and that was from ATS instead of one of the online places oddly though.

Gone for Asym 3 225/40 all round as the square setup is meant to give a really nice balance on the 130.
