My E82 N55 135i has a gearbox fault.
It jumps out of 1st gear when pulling away with a bang.
Apparently it's a common fault but company's cat buy replacement parts for them.
That said I thought I would get a S/H gearbox.
The codes on mine are GS6-45BZ THD4
The S/H gearbox codes GS6-45BZ THAJ this comes out of an F20 Lci M135i which has done 29k
The guy says it's the same box but the price is £1250 delivered so obviously I'm wary of spending that kind of cash to find it won't fit !
Can anyone shed some light on these codes and if this replacement gearbox will be ok ?
