Anyone good good pictures of this? Are the tips staggered fitment as well or same fitment?

I am going to get a custom exhaust done on my E87 from the cat back but don't know whether to go shotgun staggered or shotgun same:

Granted it's E82/E88 but you get the idea.

No more images i'm afraid but i've just been outside to measure them... They're staggered by about 16mm.

Straight cut staggered as above is what you want. It's what the 130i performance exhaust is and looks the best. The bmw performance tips are 80mm, or 3" by the way.

I'd like something more towards BMWP look than 130i look. Not really a fan of rolled tips. Prefer the straight cut like on BMWP.

Thats what I'm saying dude. The BMWP exhaust looks great and the specs for that are straight cut, 16mm staggered, 80mm od tips as exactly in dc11 post.

Mihad1 has a 135i backbox. Which also has 3 inch tips but they are rolled and slightly slash cut to line with the diffuser. That's how they come as standard. I've got a 135 backbox ready to be fitted to mine, and I'm debating whether to have the standard tips cut off and ones similar to BMWP ones welded on.

Let me know what you get done and how much it costs. I got quoted £160 to fit the 135 backbox and y pipe on mine. Deciding if that's a good price because it's not a simple job, but not that diffucult either.

I will do bud. EMP Performance are doing mine. £495 all inc if the cat is in the downpipe or £350 all inc if the cat is not in the downpipe is what they quoted me.

Would rather a custom made catback than an OEM option. Not really a fan of the OEM options APART from BMWP but it would probably cost the same as, if not more than a custom option. EMP are one of the best guys and the price is fair IMO along with a lifetime warranty.
