So this started in another thread but would be good to see how many affected
One person says its happened "once" to them and another says it happens once a week....
My problem started one day when I was stopped in traffic and I tried to set off the car was in neutral. How odd, I thought, didn't think I'd done that or pressed anything. Back into Drive and continue.
Month later, same thing, definitely didn't do it this time..... annoying kept look out, nothing....
Month later happened again, didn't catch it as wasn't paying attention
Month later again happened twice when in traffic (separate days)... Think its when the engine restarts after the Stop/Start kicks in. Think it restarts in D, but then moves to N. (Happened 6 times in 2000 miles so far)
BMW says it shouldn't do this, and I've taken the car in yet they say there are no faults and everything is absolutely fine.
Interested to see if anyone's had this issue as you might not have realised it at the time.
