So as to prevent scuffing and scraping the paint on the edges of the doors when I park in a tight space or next to a wall, I usually fit edge protectors to the front doors of my car.

The ones I have fitted to the 1er are short strips of clear plastic that wrap around the edge of the door and grip it without needing adhesive, but I'd be the first to admit that they don't enhance the looks of the car - plus they can also scratch the paint themselves if grit gets trapped underneath them.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an alternative product? My car is Sparkling Grpahite, so they would need to look ok with that colour - most of the stick-on protectors you can buy in Halfords and the like are either white or black, which may look a bit obvious.
