Ball polished alloy. I had BBS wheels in this finish on a Golf GTI back in the day, until the salt got under the lacquer and ruined them. And then again once they'd been replaced under warranty.

This is getting weird now! I've actually been out in the 3 door with the 624s on and got a picture of this one after a service last year. Both at Rybrook Worcester

How's it weird?

Two different black LCI's on either version of the MP wheel 624m.

Much prefer the 405m on the 1

It's weird that both examples that have popped up on this thread were at Rybrook in Worcester. The 5dr was the first LCI M135i I saw, that's why I got the picture. I went along with a mate on a test drive in the 3dr. The wheels really don't look right on it

Yeah maybe they have some over stock of these wheels, they are the cheaper MP wheels so maybe they are trying to make thier ones stand out!

Also noticed a few from the same place have a odd mix of MP kit!

I noticed the Reg I was more referring to the fact a MP wheel was fitted to a M135i not really weird as the wheel is a MP part offered for that model!

But yeah does seem that place have a few M135i over my time looking with an odd mix of MP parts.

Crap looking wheels full stop!.. Overly complicated and too fussy... They'd be the first thing I'd be binning if they came on any car I bought... Can't imagine anyone speccing them or adding to them aftermarket (which is probably why the dealer is trying to get shot of them!! Lol)
