OK if I was to build anothet car and chose either an e87 or e92 what would make for a powerful interesting swap

No interested in an m3 swap or m5

Audi 4.2 v8
BMW 4.8 v8 ( m62)
Jz1
Jz2
350z

Is there any way I could use audi v8 4.2 and make it just rear wheel drive

And would have to be manual

I guess staying BMW of a similar age/generation might make integrating the electrics / gearbox / clutch a tiny bit easier?

I plan to go stand alone ecu anyway of I do anything
As I want to add turbo and play with tuning again

But I guess a more modern 550i of the same age is an option

I always have a build on the go and now the 135i is done I Need to start something new
Either 3door Hatchback or e92, just start with a cheap High millage car and see where I end up

My car has enough power as it is, and a single turbo will cost as much as another project so just dosnt make sense

Someone in Russia is putting a big single 2jz in an E82. So much room when the engine isn't leaning over!

Bring some good old Japanese tech to a modern chassis with exceptional handing.

Oh and I say E87.. Short wheelbase. M3 running gear. Wide body. So aggressive. Will handle like a go kart too!

Wide body Some m3 suspension parts but m3 engine is just too expensive and has low torque figures

You'll probably say it's too easy / similar / boring, but I'd go E81 S55.

See how light you could make it?

I don't rate the V8...

2jz is where it's at.

2jz is special but you can't deny the sound and power a v8 can make

F80 M3, it's like an N55 on steroids.
Omg that would be out of my price range lol but a nice thought

How much would such an engine cost ?
