I haven’t changed mine so I’m not speaking from experience, but diff bushes are pretty widely reported to be one of the biggest NVH transfer points on the E8x/E9x chassis along with shifter bushes and engine mounts. Unless you’re building a track car and don’t mind sacrificing noise/liveability, I’d stick with OEM.

You could always look at filling the oem bushing with polyurethane adhesive like tiger seal or sikaflex as kinda a middle ground
Just be aware it take a few days to fully cure so you loose the car for a bit

I have solid Delrin diff’ bushes and would say to think carefully before going too hard. I like the look of the MFactory ones (‘Hard Race’ bushes look identical but cost more for some reason).

I’ll be going for Powerflex purple for the diff’ in my M-subframe, but jonwilli gets on well with his Powerflex blacks on his cars.
