Did anybody ever want one of these?

Just thinking back now that I've ordered my baby M...

Back before I was even old enough to drive I always wanted one of these!

E46? 325ti compact with M Sport body kit. These things were awesome! Great engine. Looks? Err. Yeah... Sensitive subject that..

So yeah, anyone else ever want one of these or was it just me? Barely see any on UK roads!

Someone I work with has one, nicely spec'd one too,
Always liked them something about the bumpers and the chunky wheels really sets them off nicely!
One of those would have been my first new Beemer if I could have afforded it at the time.
Lad at work had one up until a few months ago, sounded feking fantastic when he gave it a boot full. :eek2:
When I was at uni, one of my friends had that, anthracite/grey coloured with black leathers. Was quite nice!
Now, don't hate me, but i always thought BMW should never have released it  :lol2:

Me too :lol2:

My mate has one though, and it does sound good and they're pretty quick. Keeps up with my Megane 250, just :lol2:
I went to view one of these back in my prime days as well.. Not quite the 325i but I did think it was quite a cool beama to have when I was like 17-18.. However the one I went to check was blowing white smoke out the exhaust and some other symptoms walked away and ended up getting the saloon version instead.

At least the E46 compact wasn't as much of a monstrosity as the E36 compact! :eek2: :eek2:.

Im not sure, i prefer the e36 front. I dont like the front on the e46 i dont think it knows what it wants to be!
Although the prior design kit, really sorts the e46 front out. It tidys up the grill and the headlights.

Pic? The E36 compact rear is what I find more disgusting than the E46 compact rear.
Yeah, I like the 325i Compact, I very nearly bought a nice burnt orange one a couple of years ago.

Looks quite nice actually.

I see E92 and E82 in there.
Yeah it actually looks like a BMW. The original front bumpers were so plain and did nothing for the styling one bit. At least the E36 looked like a 3 series coupe but had been shunted from the rear :lol2:
Hi Rydale, I parted with my 325ti clubsport in Dec 2015 after 5 years of harmonious ownership. Originally purchased with only 20k on the clock and exchanged it on 165k miles. What a car! I mulch miles and the 30 mpg return was easily forgiven as the 325ti restored my faith in daily work beasts. Previously my Audi A3 2.0 DSG (from new) let me down time after time which is why I moved to my first BMW (and never looked back) 120d msport. Loved this car but then moved to the 325ti when the lease was up. What a find. I wish I could buy the 325ti back or even buy another (cash permitting). Still in BMW ownership (5series e60 & a Z4 e85) but I just loved my compact. How are you finding yours?

E46 compact looked better than the E36 compact IMO.
