Where can I get depo's from at a good price ....isn't version 2 better ? Any one used the German site (ad-tuning)?
Are they a direct replacement for my standard or is anything additional needed?
Thanks

Do a little research on Depo condensation before pulling the trigger, I've stopped recommending them now due to too many disappointed members.

I'm not saying don't buy them, just look before you leap. :)

Yep, this. I've posted this link a few times in his threads/replies that may help him: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Ive been waiting for AD TUNING to get the Depo V1 (black) in stock but you can get them off ebay for about £200.
Ive already received my LED bulbs to replace the "yellow" ones in the halos.
Go for V2 if you want "white" halo as standard but you cannot easily replace these if they fail.

AD Tuning have them in stock, don't be put off by the "in stock after 5 days" notice - that just means that it will take some more time for your order to be processed but mine arrived after a week

The V1's in black?
I emailed them the other day and they said they haven't got any and don't know when they will be getting them.

Ah yes but mine are hopefully soon going to get the full treatment by Toby who has done an awesome job on his depos and transformed them into completely different lights.

Won't be for few weeks yet but when they're fitted I'll post as always.

Excited much? Fook yeah

Are these depos? V1 or V2?
V1's

Pretty obvious when you check the description.. Halogen ANGEL EYES
V2 are also halogen angel eyes.... The only difference between the two is the V2's have LED Rings, V1 don't.

Neither are xenon lights. They're halogen projector lights. DEPO would probably tell you that you can't use HID's in them too if you were to ask them due to how hot the bulbs burn compared to normal halogens and potential marking to the lens.

The 'angel eyes' are the rings around the projector. So if the angel eyes are halogen I'm pretty sure they'd be V1's.

Also, we have to be a bit careful here, but a true xenon bulb will run much cooler than a halogen filament. It has to by definition. If it's producing more light then it's producing less heat at the same voltage and wattage. Bare in mind OEM xenon kits are 35w, halogen filament bulbs are 55w, so the bulbs are not only more efficient (they require less wattage) they also produce more light. I'm trying to find some sources to back this up.

Sorry to the OP for hijacking the thread but just wanted to ask a question or two.

I would love to fit depos but every thread I read people always change the bulbs and fit an HID kit although technically this is naughty right by law unless they factory fitted but it's seems almost mandatory when reading through this forum almost.
I understand that the light output ain't great with the depos unless you install the HID kit but is it that bad?!
