I've been in 2 minds since putting the car up for sale on here , I've had a set of m4 lca and ts sat in the shed for over a month and decided to get them fitted as i couldn't resist lol , went out at 5 am this morning for a long drive and thought what am I doing selling as its just so good with low miles and mint , I will have to see about sorting the missis out something for work or just try and not think about it 😀 but I just could not bring myself to advertise it properly , will keep my eyes open for a nice set of 19" alloys now if any become available.

Good call! They’re hard cars to replace value for money wise, especially at the moment!
Came to the same conclusion plus it's had that much done to it I thought I'd finally get the chance to enjoy it through the Summer, and when you look at what else is around for the money it was a pretty easy decision to make apart from the missis Piling the miles on for work lol , if I got a standard car I would have to spend about 8k to get it to where it is now not that everyone would but its a lot of car for what I might of been able to get if I had of sold.

Went through the same thought process a couple of years ago - 93k on the clock now and not regretted it for a second! How much did the steering wheel retrim cost if you don’t mind sharing? Mine is looking a bit tired now and alcantara would be a nice change.

Hi , I drove up to Royal Steering wheels and he took mine off and fitted the new one for £200 all in , feels so much better and it has regular maintenance with my alcantara brush lol

Sometimes it takes seeing an advert up, and imagining someone else (!) driving away in it that makes you stop and realise you're not done yet :)

I've deleted your advert 👍 Enjoy your lovely car.

EDIT: You should use the pictures for a post in the Member's Cars section ;)

Well my lca and ts are going to be short lived lol , the missis just thinks they are to firm and jarring due to the bushing I suppose which I can see but I'm ok with it and only went on Friday lol , I'll get them removed in the week and put them up for grabs , the joys of car sharing.

That’s a bummer , did you notice much improvement in handling or did you not get much of a chance to drive it ?

It does not improve the handling as such but just gives a better feel on turn in although I've hardly driven it , like I said before the missis uses it 90% of the time and I end up just trying stuff because of popping on here or just boredom lol but it's just less hassle if I swap them back as I'm easy either way if I'm honest.

It's probably just the tension struts giving the firmer ride. Maybe remove those first as a compromise?
I could do but its just the wheel being pushed forward in the arch I'm not a 100% about.......

I've heard this happens but how much we talking here?
I've got some on mine ( e92 m3 lca's) and couldn't notice the difference 🤷‍♂️

100% correct decision to keep the car by the way 🙂
Here is a pic of just the lca ,
