Hi Chaps, I have the following codes coming up

P2FBF Fuel pressure after release of the injection
P0597 Thermostat Heater Control Circuit/Open
P2EF5 - map thermostat, input signal

I'm assuming the top one means the HPFP issue ? which I knew was going to happen sooner rather than later as it started to crank for a quite a few seconds before starting in the morning.

if so how much should I expect to pay for part and fitting, a garage has just quoted me over £800, I was thinking it would be more like £500, he said it would be 6 hours of labour ?!?

Are the other two the same thing and I just need a new t/stat, or will I need anything else like the water pump as well ?

Thermostats are common, which is situated on top of the electronic fuel pump

I did buy my hpfp form bwm and it was around 260 ish if you give old one back.

800 seems bit too much.

I would do proper diagnosis via DIS first aswell.
