anyone got any tips for getting the wheel archs properly clean?

I like keeping the archs clean as i hate that off brown colour the wheel archs go if not cleaned regularly.

Also any tips for underneath the car near the suspension arms as it can not be good all the dirty on all those mechanical bits?

I just want to have my car so clean, I can eat my dinner off it! :screwy:

I clean the wheelarches and suspension arms twice a year when I change from winter to summer tires or viceversa. When the wheel is of I use my Karcher, some autoglym car soap and an old sponge to clean everything including the wheelhub (wich becomes black from brakedust) and the brake caliper.

Works like a charm for me since the wheel was already off to change them.

A small tip. Use an hydrolic jack to change your wheels. It's 10 times easier then a normal jack.
