I have noticed in the configurator that in the auto there is a chrome rest plate but the two pedals are black. Can anyone confirm if this is what you get as i can only recall from photos there there isn't a chrome rest plate.

Not sure if you can see from this link but on the configurator it has a chrome plate " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Ah, that is the LHD car, and yes you do have a chrome plate come as standard. RHD cars does not come with chrome footrest unfortunately.
Do they not do them for the RHD cars? Surely if BMW are showing it on their UK configurator they should supply it?

Nope. If you dig up old threads it has been the same from the start. My previous Audi was the same. Only have metal footrest in LHD for some reason.

Besides, can you really trust a UK configurator that is showing you a LHD car?

I have ordered quite a lot of accessories for my car already and a set of metal pedals with a footrest is the very last item I am hunting for. So I guess we are on the same boat.

I have found an OEM style footrest made by a company called Pasco from Hong Kong that perfectly matches the MP pedals, however they are not in stock and when asked when they will be in stock I haven't gotten a reply. Maybe you should also have a go; if enough of us demands it they will surely restock/make them again.

The closest (reasonably good looking) thing I can find are the AC Schnitzer set, which are a bit expensive for what they are:

£155 for the chrome pedals! Just find it a little strange that a £34k car has the basic rubber pedals. There are loads of cars which come with chrome pedals as standard which is a little annoying.

I've actually got the one from Pasco in HK...I must have got one of the last ones. Pretty good quality and it 'matches' the official M performance pedals. Would recommend if you guys could get it.

Note to anyone considering getting aftermarket M performance pedals for MANUAL cars, don't bother, they are designed for LHD cars where the clutch and brake pedals are more 'square' size. RHD cars have a more heart/shield shape...

2 sticky strips...cant get an easier installation than that. How do the accelerator and brake pedal go on?
The official ones, you need to remove the old ones, drill it and then refit the new pedal covers, big faff in my opinion. They're also super expensive for pedals...£90 even from Cotswold if I remember correctly....

326 I suggest you send Pasco HK a message too and see if they would restock, as there is obviously a demand. Matching the MP ones would be nice.
I've sent them a message about them. Do you know much they are?
They were $399HKD....equated to around £35 when I ordered mine

Do they just stick on with sticky bits too? How are you finding them?

Yup they just have some double sided tape, perfect fit. They look great, look like OEM, slightly different shade to the real pedals I've heard, but you wouldn't notice it...just need to find replica manual pedals now...

They look like they're for the E 1 Seriesp I'm not sure they would fit the F 1 and 2 Series.

Just get the MP real deal? They are perfectly matching and only about 90 quid.
