It's not. Was 23,995 can't sell it. I drove it.

No spec
What did you find out?
Lci but no nav or black panel. Leather seats but not heated. No sun protection pack.

Only front and rear pdc with cruise from memory. I detest pdc and never use cruise. So the options it came with were of no interest to me and the ones it didn't have annoyed me.

So whilst it was at 23,995 I ordered one instead that is still costing me less than that would even reduced to 20,995.

They struggle to sell here (northern ireland) as everyone wants diseasal....

Salesman said the owner had bought it and done 1500 miles in it in 6 months so they traded it in to jkc (another garage in Northern Ireland) Bavarian then bought it from them

Superman spec is an acquired taste, but wouldn't put me off much at that price (assuming it's straight?)

Has it been in a massive shunt or something? There was one unfortunate chap on here who was the victim of a huge collision when his car was only a few days old. His insurance couldn't write it off despite £20k worth of damage, as it was worth £30k+. :(

I wouldn't be sure on the accident mate. Although I'd have thought were it in a bad one then cat d or cat c had to be declared on the advert.....

Superman spec is lovely and what I had Initially settled on. But saving 500 quid and the fact my 116i is estoril I switched to white.

If anyone is genuinely interested I can enquire about it with Bavarian and/or forward the details of my salesman who is a good chap.

I had a drive in it and loved it (obviously as I ordered a manual) just the lack of a few simple options combined with pcp being extortionate on used compared to new put me off....

Cat C/D is all about value, nothing to do with how much damage was done. Major accidents are not recorded, only write offs.

Oh. I was under the impression it had to be declared in the advert as all the cat d or cat c ones on autotrader are.
If it's not compulsory then why are they declaring? (genuine question)

As above I can go have another look if anyone is genuinely interested and see if I can spot any signs if damage....

You're absolutely right, if it were a write off it should be declared.

All I'm trying to say (poorly) is a car can be reduced to a twisted pile of metal and not necessarily written off or recorded anywhere. HPI clear.

To me, selling a car after so few miles screams somebody suddenly fell out of love with it for a good reason. I've no evidence that it's ever been damaged though, just a hypothesis, so I'll butt out now!

Haha ah right I get you now. No worries. I would suspect a car such as that or such as in that example wouldn't make it into Bavarians forecourt tbh. But I suppose stranger things and all.

I didn't even think to ask whenever we were mashing out figures.

Just don't get them to quote you for a performance exhaust if you do buy out of there. Considerably dearer than site sponsor cotswold

Decent price but not a huge fan of the colour combo.

I assumed pro nav was standard on lci builds.

Certainly not a mis price and not something you would make any money on

I bought an automatic with 8500 miles on with lots of options auto for cheaper than that an an approved bmw dealer. Mine was pre lci though

Cat c does have to be advertised but not cat d.

Pro Nav isn't standard on any car.

LCI came out March 2015, black panel was an option (£125), business nav an option (550), pro nav was £1900 (included black panel).

In September 2015 business nav became standard with black panel, pro nav still an option at £900.

So that car has no nav at all I would suggest.

Either the P.O. got ripped a new one on the deal to replace that car or dealer is losing a lot of money.

As I understand it if a car has been in an accident the seller (private or otherwise) must tell the truth if asked, however they do not have to volunteer that information. Marco is correct with regards to HPI recording - if a car is repaired (no matter how well/poorly) it is not recorded.

Regardless of if that car has some accident history or not, its a poverty spec car being sold in an area where a large petrol engine is undesirable - its going to struggle I think.
