Assume you have an E8*? I had a coin stuck in mine. Never got round to sorting it out but its a centre console removal job I'm afraid. Lots of fiddling involved.

That's kind of what I was hoping you wouldn't say. Don't really want to take everything out without reason and possibly introduce rattles or squeaks to the car.

Would it be the same job to change all the trim to performance carbon? If so I may go down that route instead.
