Can anyone with an LE just check what spec battery they have (preferably the original).

I've got a 70AH, 760CCA AGM in the back of mine and I'm trying to work out if it's the original or not.

She's cranking rather slowly now.

Mine is a BMW battery and has the same numbers as yours - all apart from the AGM bit at the end, mine says SAE.

Thanks mate. Mine doesn't say AGM either but it is an AGM battery. Number on mine ends in 884 if yours is the same?

I've ordered a replacement Bosch S6 096 AGM which is the same specification to replace it. 6 year warranty. £123 delivered.

I was reading on the differences between registering a replacement battery with the OBC and having to code a new one in. If you change specs or types then you need to have it coded, if you don't then you just have to register a replacement so with the new one I'm good to just register replacement.

The numbers on mine are exactly as your original post - no mention of 884.

What do you mean by cranking?

If it's the speed of the ignition / start up, then it's fine. I have noticed it revs round to over 2k on really cold mornings.

Neighbours must love that what with the BMWP exhaust and intake.

Mine sounds slightly more sluggish than usual, not like the battery's on its way out though. Battery is original I believe as it's bmw branded, haven't checked part no but saw it last week when tow bar fitting..
