BMW Configurator finally live!

Just had a nosey, so it starts at 44k OTR not 42k as the mags suggest.
Specced mine up with everyday options and it made it up to £48,500, you get quite a lot standard but in other areas get no choice of options at all ie seats or interior trim.
Things like the heated seats should be standard not a £300 option aswell.
But overall 48k is too similar in price and car to the M4 IMO, others will say you can spec the A45 and RS3 to target price easily but I think you either want 4wd or not and if you don't like 4wd and want a balanced coupe then why not spend the extra 4K or so and get the big brother?

Have you definately been able to spec your car to your requirements? I ask as it was a cancelled order and I'm being told that specs are locked and yours was a cancelled order. If you have I'm being lied to and I'd like to find out if that is the case.sawda said:

I agree, but I'm being told differently. I was waiting for a 2017 car, found a 2016 car, cancelled the 2017 order and said I'd have the 2016 car. Got a call half an hour later to say it was a cancelled order and spec locked! This could signal the end of me and an M2.

My allocation was Due to someone pulling out... Maybe they didn't want to wait? I paid my deposit for the allocation and then I went to spec my car. Once the car was specced they sent my order to bmw headquarters to assign a delivery date. They came back plaster and said I should have the car in my possession in November. If it helps,I struck lucky with a cancelled order and am first in queue for July delivery.KenC said:
The salesman doesn't even want to see me until April to finalise the spec as it's all up in the air and just used my old spec from a previous order ie different colour to lock allocation.
Perhaps some choice words are needed.

The white one was posted by mofomat earlier this morning and is the first time I've seen it with the 19' wheels.This is the vid that has swayed me as I was convinced that LBB was the way forward....
But damn that white looks good with the black accents and the sun protection,can't make my mind up again

What do you think of the Mineral Grey? I think if a brighter colour leather was available, such as Sakhir Orange, I would be going for that combo, but as it stands, LBB for me at the moment.Spot the cat said:Thanks,
