Thought that they where darker than this. I was toying with the idea of changing, but as they are £160 and only appear darker at the sides I'll probably not bother.

BTW there's one lamp holder that's missing a bulb (I think). Does anyone know what this is for? Both the old and the new had them. Was thinking that it was for the LED lines...but not sure.

I'm well pleased with mine. They really do transform the look of the rear IMO.
Definately make a difference. got these installed on mine aswell! makes the car look slightly different to every other 1er out there.
got some facelift ones i would like to swop for white ones if anyone is interested? they are non led but look the same for cars without xenon headlights just like the pic of the 120d on this thread
