Some of the first pictures I have of the car.

Worst thing I noticed about the car from start was the stiff ride on the standard M-sport suspension with run flats, but with Eibach pro street coil overs

and numerous bushings changed to Powerflex, it drives more comfortable on the 19" BBS CH's than the standard setup.
Control arms on the front axel are changed to MEYLE HD reinforced ones and camber pin mod has been done.
M3 guide arms and wishbones rear.

Interior wise I have changed the seat cover on the bottom in the drivers side do too it being damaged in the wannabe leather part, and mounted some other parts like BMWP SSK and handbrake handle, RSW retrimmed steering wheel with BMWP Alcantara cover, Alcantara cluster cover.

Looking much cleaner than mine at the moment!

How are the mirror caps going? I saw a set a while ago but read that they cause annoying wind noise on models with frameless doors so avoided them. Much cheaper than M3 mirrors though...
The mirror caps fit perfect, they are made of ABS plastic just like the originals.
I think they all are delivered in high gloss black, I won't color match them to the car because the mirror base on the car also is high gloss black.
I haven't had any noise from mine (200 km/h),
But I could see where it could be a problem with the e81/82/88 frameless doors though.

So jealous of your "at home cleaning station"!!!!

Hi Mark.
Yes that's nice to have the room/space where it's possible to give the car a good cleaning, even if it's raining.

Thought i would do a little update to my cluster, sow I sent a e-mail to the owner of Venoxy, we found a solution that would work in the car and fit my idea of what I wanted.
KMH main dial with mph secondary dial,
Rev counter edited to fit rpm read out of the Engine management, rev counter now stops at 7500 rpm and matches the revs in engine management.
No need for 8000 rpm showing wen engine peaks at 7120 rpm (246 whp) after remap.
Then I wanted the 1M look dials with 130I logo,
Here's what it ended looking like.

Before.

After.

Here's a link to the shop where you can buy the cluster dials:

Love these dials. What's the procedure for fitting them?

Is it a simple job with a screwdriver or a bit more involved?

Seems like a fairly cheap mod to lift the interior a bit and I like cheap at the moment :)

In thise Corona/Corvid19 quarantine times there isn't a great deal of thing to do, but there I always some car stuff to take care of, a little resume of the last couple of days.

As the front fenders on my 130 had seen better days, and I had 2 brad new original fenders laying in my loft, all I had to do was to get them painted and when at the painter I got my rear spoiler for the bumper resprayed to.

And ever since I got the bumper and hood resprayed I've been annoyed that I didn't get a new bumper grill and brake air ducts, sow bought new ones to replace them when I was at it anyway.

The process of changing the fenders was a little annoying when your used to work on a lift, and you haven't got one at your disposal.
I jacked up the car one side at the time in my driveway and went to work.

The old fenders.

Didn't take any pictures of the other side, also what to finish the job, and when ad it I decided to put on the summer wheels as well.

The result (still a dirty car).

And let's not forget that the spoiler in the rear bumper was resprayed gloss.

Now it was just about time to get the car a good cleaning and check for stone chips.

Autobrite direct magician for pre wash.

Rinsed of.

Wash with 2 bucket and grid gard using auto finesse lather.

And rinsing of the soap again.

Now just need a run around with a drying towel, and check for stone chips, here's the results of the last few days, standing in the sun and looking quite respectable.

Now just waiting for the TRW M3 rear arms I ordered for the car to.

Received the M3 arms for the rear suspension just before the weekend, that meant that I just had to get them on the car instead of just having them laying around looking nice.
Sow Saturday that was on the to do list.

Still need to get the holders ABS/BVA tube brackets left and right 34522283017 to make the install complete.

(The ANS/BVA brackets were installed 28/4-2020 just didn't bother to take a picture of it.)

It does look flash but those tyres are way to small for those wheels. That wouldn't even pass an inspection here, why the mismatch?

I know some people have got it a little tight opinion wise with the tyre's stretch, but that's how I actually like the look, and that makes it possible for me to run 19" 8,5ET 35 front and 9,5ET 40 rear without having to trash my wheel arches and have no rubbing.
Therefore the mismatch as you call it.

Fair enough, thanks, if it's what you like and safe then don't mind me! It wouldn't pass a safety inspection here, hence my question, that's all.

Edit: we have really tight regulations here though, e.g. no spacers unless you have a special certificate, no coilovers unless you have a special certificate etc, etc...
This car looks stunning. Really love what you've done with it!

Bought a Maxton design spoiler for the 130 back in 8 month of 2019 and it's laying a round since, and every now and then I've bin thinking go or no go, but now it on the car only 9 months after the purchase was done.
Now we'll see if it stays on the car.

That looks very good, it's got a nice modern profile.

I wonder if this could be adapted to fit the stock panel (i.e. without BMWP spoiler)? How flexible is it?
M3AN.

I would say it wouldn't fit on the panel without the oem aerodynamic spoiler.
