Hi All,

I'm looking for a bit of advice, currently having an issue with my M140i giving out quite a bit of blue smoke after accelerating past 3k revs and letting off the throttle. The smoke stops as soon as the revs go below 3000 RPM and the car drives fine otherwise and there is no smoke at any other point.

I took the car into a BMW specialist last Wednesday for a service and had them replace the PCV valve while it was in because I was told that could be the issue. Sadly this didn't stop the smoking.

What should my next plan of action be?

The car is a 2019 M140i on 40k miles. Stage 2 MG Flasher with all supporting mods etc. Oil and coolant levels are fine.

I have scanned for codes using the MG Flasher app and got the following:

Gadget Font Electronic device Communication Device Multimedia

After a quick Google search the 1FBD08 code seems to be because I have start/stop coded out so I don't think that is an issue. As for the 138A15 code, I don't see how that could be causing anything to do with the smoking but I could be wrong!

Any input would be much appreciated!

Thanks Everyone.

Get a proper diagnostic done, problem with asking online is you get a range of could be's and can end up spending a lot of money trying different things. PCV was a cheap part, shame that didnt fix it. Did they do any other checks or explain what they thought it could be?
