axel stands

I have these Thule ramps, they are nice and low entry and give enough room for me to crawl under and do an oil change. It’s such a faff jacking the car up and putting it on stands just for an oil change in my opinion. Rated to 5 tonnes for the pair (and I’d believe Thule for that) and only 40 quid.

(I didn’t do an oil change here, I’d only do it when it was dry - less risk of the ramps wanting to slip.)

Will the G42 m240i fit ? I have another set and just too steep strangely enough they was ok on my F22 ...
If you’re anywhere near York you’re welcome to test them out. They work fine on the wife’s 125i with Performance springs (a drop in comparison to M-Sport). If you’ve got a monster splitter or something then you may need something more gradual again, but then the ramps would either be really long, or you won’t be able to crawl under if they don’t get you that much lift.

Do the Thule levelers come with chocks that lock in behind the wheel to stop the car moving backwards ?
They don’t, but the flats on the ramps mean that the car isn’t wanting to shoot backwards all the time. I’ve been fine with the handbrake on and leaving it in gear, but you can of course have that extra security with some chocks on the rear wheels (sold separately).

They are levellers not ramps. Used for caravans and motorhomes. Ideal for cars because of the weight rating. I've a similar set but never thought about using them for the cars.
I appreciate the pedantry. Please exchange where I have used the words ramp or ramps with leveler or levelers (or levelling ramps) to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding.
