They are called M3 Competition, they are similar to the CSL, but they got 19x8 in front.
I wanted to get 4 19x8,5 but the dealer didnt accept my VIN from "my" CSL *g*

So they are basicly the same exept for the width.

You wont get original CSL Wheels unless you own a CSL.

M3 Competition wheels are the way to go=

And since its so hot outside, i must say my wheels are sticky like fµ*k

Can i fit in my 118d with sport suspension 245/40R18 with 20 ET? The rims are original BMW "Styling 37".

And which is the biggest possible rim that can i fit in 1er with no changes?

They fit perfect in E90.

this thread[/URL] Pilsbury"]1 series can take E36 onwards 3 series wheels, Z3 wheels and Z4 wheels. The only exception is genuine M wheels (from a M3, Z3M or Z4M) will not fit properly....E90 is post E36, so, it's wheels fit just fine.

Although you say Style 37 fit the E90 perfectly, Style 37 is not an E90 wheel, it is for E39 5er. See

So now we know for sure, 8J x 18 ET 20 with 245 40 18 do NOT fit in 1er front.

What about Styling 157 - they are from E93
8x17 225/45R17 ET 34 ?

This offset and width is the same as E90 standard wheel so should be OK per pilsbury's post (above).

There is no quick answer to this as acceptable rim widths for tyres can differ from manufacturer to manufacturer (for example TUV certifies some 255 to fit on 8.5" wheels but not others).

Try visiting the

website, select your dimensions and tyre that you want and click on specs. THen you can follow the manufacturer's specification.

I did a quick check- 7" was OK for the Yokohama, Bridgestone and Continental tyres that I tried.

stanmak, 225 width can go on to a 7" rim, no problems. 225 width is suitable for rims between 7" to 8½". My old wrx had 225/45R17 mounted on 17x7" rims.

Look under specs. For Bridgestone RE050A Pole, 225 45 17 will fit on 7-8.5"-

You also might like to consider going 225 all round though- Juancarslim and oreo went for this option- members are generally doing this to give the car a more tail happy bias compared with the original setup.

Well! I think I will go for 225 all round and will keep you posted! I am just a little bit concern about 7" rim can really fit 225 tire.

I went to tire shop today and they did not recommend me to use the 7" 17 rim to install 225 tyres. Of course they tried to convince me to buy new set of 8/8.5 18 rims. I hesitate whether i should stick with 225//45/17 fitted with my 141 rim.

I eventually took 225 45 17 BS 01R. Now the car has transformed and no more spin unless I do it on purpose. The tyres are just fit with 7" rim.
