Hi,
I had my m sport suspension replaced with KW V1's on Friday along with a new set of wheels and tyres (8.5J front and 9.5J rear).
The garage that switched over the suspension for me had to replace the front track rod ends as the previous ones had seized.
When driving home I noticed that the steering wheel wasn't dead centre anymore and then dong dong, error. (The exclamation mark symbol and the exclamation mark in the triangle symbol now permanently on). I had the code read on the Saturday and it is the angle steering sensor.
So today I contacted the garage that did the work and they don't see how they could have caused it. I'm on the fence, it could just be a coincidence after all.
However, I thought I would reach out to you guys to see if a.) the garage that did the work could have influenced this happening b.) whether it is just showing now due to the steering wheel not being centre, i.e. tracking out or c.) it could well be a fault with the sensor and how much I could expect to pay to get this fixed? (Wouldn't mind a ball park figure before I go back to the garage on Saturday).
Thanks for any input
